Free Outdoor Jamming Jean Concert with Gerald McClendon

Join us Friday September 27 for a summer Jamming Jean when Gerald McClendon returns with his band for a performance in James Park outside the Levy Senior Center. 

Gerald is a versatile performer and a beloved community favorite infusing classic R&B and Soul hits with his unique vibrant style. Don’t miss the chance to experience his electrifying performance—join us for a night of dance-worthy music that will get you on your feet!

Cocina Azteca will also be on site with delicious handmade traditional Mexican fare for sale. Grab dinner while you groove to the tunes. 

The concert will be held in James Park outside the Levy Senior Center from 5 to 7 pm. To enhance your comfort remember to bring a lawn chair and your favorite beverage.

This family friendly event is made possible by the Levy Senior Center Foundation and the City of Evanston. The Jamming Jean Music Series named in honor of a former Levy Senior Center member features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity.
