Come join one of our experienced rangers on a short bush walk and develop the skill of nature journaling. Nature journaling is the practice of drawing or writing in response to observations of nature and the feelings experienced by the process.
Nature journaling will enrich your experiences and develop observation, curiosity, gratitude, respect, memory and the skills of a naturalist. Suitable for all skills and mobility.
Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden offers a monthly Seniors in Nature program on the last Friday of every month, providing over 55s the opportunity to connect with nature through a variety of experiences including guided walks, bushfoods, fauna encounters, nature art and other sensory experiences.
Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden also offers excursions and incursions for private groups such as live in facilities, probus groups and other community organisations.
The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
