Learn how to administer Naloxone, a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. You could save a life. Overdose deaths are continuing to rise in our community. The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise in partnership with Rotary Action Group Addiction Prevention North America are taking the lead and will train local citizens, for free, on the administration of Kloxxado, a new stronger Naloxone (Narcan) that lasts longer, works faster and is more effective in reversing overdose and saving lives. It is considered a life-saving drug. Attendees will receive a free kit. ($49 value). Advance registration is required. Space is limited.
