Join Teacher Lindy August 22nd at 5:00pm for a FREE Musical Theatre class for ages 8+! New and returning students welcome. Lindy Pendzick is passionate about the performing arts and equally passionate about teaching. Originally from Palatka, Florida, Lindy earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Stetson University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University where she also served as a graduate teaching assistant for the vocal department. A highly acclaimed vocalist and actor, she has worked with opera and theater companies across the United States and has also performed internationally. Some of her favorite roles include Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Cosette in Les Miserables, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, and Marian Paroo in The Music Man. Lindy currently performs as a guest artist with American Cruise Lines on riverboats that cruise on the beautiful Columbia River. She presents her one-woman Broadway and classical revue show “Lindy On A High Note” to cruising guests. She began her riverboat career in 2007 here in the Pacific Northwest and quickly fell in love with this part of the country. She currently lives in Ridgefield, Washington with her wonderful husband Greg, daughter Liliana, and son Orion. Lindy is excited to join the Riverside Performing Arts teaching team this year!
She’ll be teaching Musical Theatre for ages 8-adult, Acting for ages 8+, and Voice.
