Free Music Exploration Night for Adults with Disabilities

Want to learn more about music? Make music using various instruments, listening and creating songs. Join us for this fun event from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4th. One free drink and snack is included, compliments of the Robertson Family Foundation.
Instructor Katie Bowyer is a board-certified Music Therapist, fitness instructor, and multi-instrumentalist. She grew up in the Triangle, and has been singing and playing music since she was young. She has degrees in Music Therapy from Appalachian State University (BM) and Colorado State University (MM). She is passionate about helping others grow and learn through music. In this music therapy group, participants can expect to make music using various instruments, listen to songs that incorporate props for movement, discuss songs and their meaning to us, and write new music together and/or rewrite lyrics to favorites!
