Free Movie for Seniors: Watching Mr. Pearson with Director Dillon Bentlage
About this Event
Movie fans, we hope to see you at The Old Mill Playhouse (1000 Old Mill Run, The Villages) for a special screening of Watching Mr. Pearson, featuring an in-person appearance by writer/director Dillon Bentlage, on Monday, October 19th, at 4 PM.
Watching Mr. Pearson tells the story of Robert Pearson (Hugo Armstrong), a once-famous actor now navigating the fog of dementia in his seaside Connecticut home. Under the care of two very different caregivers, Robert rediscovers pieces of himself through imagination, performance, and connection — a warmly human reminder that no one is ever truly gone, even as memory slips away.
Following the film, director Dillon Bentlage will join us to share the story behind the making of the film and take audience questions.
Please note: This event is exclusively for guests 55+. Anyone below that age will not be granted entry to this movie.
A brief presentation on “The Latest in Clinical Research” will be given at the start of the event.
Doors open 60 minutes before the event starts. Entry will not be granted once the presentation begins.
