Come celebrate a Legacy of Horror with us every Wednesday this month. The programming will be at least 5-6 hours each week, so we are starting a half hour early at 6:30PM.
First: The dashing, mysterious Count Dracula, after hypnotizing a British soldier, Renfield, into his mindless slave, travels to London and takes up residence in an old castle. Soon Dracula begins to wreak havoc, sucking the blood of young women and turning them into vampires. When he sets his sights on Mina, the daughter of a prominent doctor, vampire-hunter Van Helsing is enlisted to put a stop to the count's never-ending bloodlust.
Second: Although Count Dracula was destroyed by Van Helsing, who is now being tried for his murder, Dracula's daughter, the Countess Marya Zaleska, is still alive -- and her father's death has brought her no closer to eradicating her vampiric thirst for blood. When attempts to free herself of the disease fail, she turns to psychiatrist Dr. Garth for assistance, but soon finds herself struggling with the desire to make him one of the undead as well.
Third: Count Alucard comes out of a lake in his coffin and makes a Southern belle his bride.
Fourth: This monster movie focuses on the iconic vampire, Count Dracula, and Lawrence Talbot, better known as the Wolf Man. Both beings of the night are tired of their supernatural afflictions, so they seek out Dr. Franz Edelmann for cures for their respective curses. While trying to aid the imposing creatures, Edelmann himself develops a transformative condition, adding to the many ghouls lurking around the foreboding landscape.
Film starts at 6:30pm. Free and open to the public with a small purchase from our snack bar. We have plenty of seating or feel free to bring your own.
