Ever run a laser cutter? How about a CNC router that steers your hands for you? Bring the whole family to Qua Workshops’ free monthly workshop, where you’ll move station to station like a real production line.
At the first station, you choose one of four pumpkin faces, laser-etch it, and laser-cut your pumpkin out. At the next, you grab a handheld CNC router and engrave your name on the back. No experience needed, it’s totally free, and your custom keychain goes home with you.
Pick a time slot that fits your schedule and come make some memories that last. There’s a new theme every month!
All ages are welcome, but every child under 13 needs a parent with them. Closed-toe shoes are required.
About Qua Workshops
Qua Workshops is a curated makerspace in Bakersfield where you build real stuff and have real experiences. Our shop is packed with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, CNC press brakes and loads of other power tools. We offer all kinds of ways to make: design workshops where you create your own kit, build workshops for our curated kits, open makerspace hours to bring your own designs to life, plus guided, self-paced and after-school workshops. We also host free events and games. This pumpkin is just the start!
