Join us for a free mini consultation event with Dr Somani, Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to discuss any general heart concerns you may have, such as chest pain, dizziness, palpitations, high blood pressure, or shortness of breath.

About the consultant :

Dr Riyaz Somani is a Consultant Cardiologist with over 20 years' expereience, speicalising in heart rhythm disorders, defibrillator implantation, cardiac resynchronisation therapy (biventricular pacing) for heart failure and the assessment of sudden cardiac death risk. He is known for his patient- focused care and expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of heart conditions.

Location: Spire Leicester Hospital

Each appointment is a 10-minute one-to-one session where you can:

• Discuss any cardiac symptoms or concerns
• Understand when further investigations might be needed
• Find out more about diagnostic tests and treatment options

Some of the most common heart conditions we see include:

• Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
• Heart Arrhythmias (Abnormal Heart Rhythms)
• Heart Failure: A condition where the heart struggles to pump blood effectively

Pre-booking is essential as places are limited, so to reserve a place online, please complete the order form and you will receive a confirmation from our bookings team with a specific time to attend (a free 10 minute consultation between 2- 3 pm on 21 January 2026)

*Mini consultations are an opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you may have and are not a formal outpatient consultation. If you wish to proceed to surgery, a full outpatient consultation will be required.
