Free mini consultations for people experiencing knee and hip pain.Join Mr Jonathan Luscombe, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, on Thursday 2nd May to discuss any concerns you may have around knee and hip pain. Appointments are available from 10.00am - 12.30pm and we will call you back to confirm an appointment time.
What are free mini-consultations?
Our popular FREE 10-minute consultations provide our patients with the opportunity to meet our consultants for an initial discussion and guidance.
You may wish to get some advice on how to get a diagnosis, or find out more about a specific procedure, talk about your suitability for treatment, or address any questions you have about a condition or treatment.
Following your mini consultation, we will provide a quote for a full consultation, any diagnostic investigations recommended, and guide prices for any surgical procedures discussed.
Will I be charged?
Our mini consultations are completely free of charge. They are designed to be an introduction only and there is no obligation to proceed with any treatments or surgical procedures that may be discussed.
They are particularly useful for our patients who are paying for their own treatment as they will not have to pay for this initial conversation, and it can help with their decision to go ahead with treatment they are funding themselves. Any subsequent tests or scans would then be chargeable.
What happens if I decide to go ahead with treatment?
If after your mini consultation you decide you want to proceed with treatment or surgery, you will need to book and pay for a full consultation, this can be done onsite or you can decide at a later date. A full consultation will allow time for a full medical history to be taken and a full and thorough assessment and examination. This is not possible in the time frame available at a mini consultation.
