Microchips are a safe and effective way to help lost pets return home quickly. With Fourth of July fireworks approaching, now is the perfect time to make sure your pet has permanent identification in case they become frightened and escape during holiday celebrations.
This clinic also comes ahead of DAS’ annual “Calming the Canines” event on July 4, which helps provide pets with a quieter environment during fireworks. Every year, animal shelters across the country see an increase in lost pets following fireworks holidays, and microchips are often the quickest way to reunite pets with their families.
