Free Mending Clinic

Join Neighbors Helping Neighbors at the Newton Public Library, for a free mending clinic on September 26th. Bring in your clothing to be mended and we’ll help you! Things like buttons, zippers, hems, torn knees, seams no longer holding together, stuffed animals with a tear - all these can be repaired, continue to be useful, and bring joy to your life.
Items must be freshly laundered.
Only three items per person, unless there is not a line.
Mending will start at 9:30 a.m. and the final items will be accepted at 12:30 p.m.
This event is free to attend and open to the public.
