Join Sarah Williams at Whangaparāoa Library for this Love Food Hate Waste workshop. Pick up clever tips and tricks for making the most of the abundance of fruit and vegetables available at this time of year. This workshop will get hands on, including pickling your excess vegetables to stock up your fridge with healthy, delicious food you can enjoy all year round.
The workshop will also cover practical advice on how to best store fresh produce, especially berries, helping it last longer and avoiding waste.
Bring some small clean jars if you’d like to take home a sample of what you’ll make eg vegetable pickles.
