Would you like to start a career or learn more skills in horticulture?
Heart of BS13 are excited to be partnering with Community Learning to offer a FREE 8 week Level 1 City and Guilds Award in Horticulture at Hartcliffe City Farm, starting this September. The course will include both classroom and practical activities.
This will include topics such as:
– Preparing to plant an area
– Planting seeds
– Plant care
– Identifying plants and weeds
– Personal safety
Who this course is for people who:
- are aged 19+
- have few or no qualifications (below Level 2)
- have as lived in the UK/EU/EAA for at least 3 years or have other residency status, eg. Refugee, asylum seeker, leave to remain or spouse visa
- are unemployed or in part time work
No experience required.
Dates and times:
10am-3pm every Tuesday for 8 weeks, starting 16 September.
(No session on 28 October – half term).
Final session: Tuesday 11 November
