Join Alaska Works Partnership for hands-on Laborers Scaffolding Training designed to help participants develop practical construction skills while learning about apprenticeship and career opportunities in the skilled trades.
🛠 You'll Learn:
• Scaffold Safety: Learn essential safety regulations and practices for working with supported scaffolding.
• Fall Protection: Understand basic fall protection requirements and safe work practices.
• Scaffold Components: Identify common scaffold components and understand how they work together.
• Material Handling: Learn safe techniques for handling and moving scaffolding materials.
• Erection & Dismantling: Practice procedures for safely assembling and taking down supported scaffolding.
• Inspection & Safe Use: Learn how to inspect scaffolding and recognize conditions that may affect safe use.

• Space is limited — apply early!
• Participants must be available to attend all five days of training.
• Completing an application does not guarantee acceptance into the training.
• Applicants may be contacted for an interview as part of the selection process.
• Participation in the interview process is required for final consideration.
• Accepted participants must provide the following documentation:
• Birth Certificate or Social Security Card
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• DD214 (Veterans only)
