🥋 What’s Happening
This day is equal parts free workshop, belt promotion, open mat, and family social:
10:00 – 11:00 AM: Jiu Jitsu Workshop – “Self-Defense: Using Jiu Jitsu in the Streets” (all levels, beginners welcome)
11:00 – 12:00 PM: Ironman Sparring + Purple Belt Promotion Ceremony for Clay Patterson
11:00 – 3:00 PM: Open Mat (Gi optional, but bring both Gi + No-Gi gear)
12:00 – 3:00 PM: Potluck Cookout + Grill 🔥
10:00 AM – evening: Family fun, lawn games, river play, and community hangout (all day!)
We may also have merch available with QR codes for easy purchase.

🍽 Potluck Cookout – Everyone Contributes!
The entire event is free — so let’s all contribute by bringing a plate to share.
We encourage variety and creativity (not just chips and sodas 😅).

🙌 Everyone is Welcome
This is for everyone — whether you train or not!
✅ Never trained Jiu Jitsu? Come learn at the workshop, watch the promotion, and enjoy the food + games.
✅ Have family that doesn’t train? Bring them along! There’s plenty for them to enjoy.
✅ "Do I have to train?" Nope — no pressure. Train as much (or as little) as you’d like.
✅ Gi or No-Gi? Please bring both. Workshop = gi optional. Ironman = gi required. Open mat = gi optional.
✅ Kids welcome? Yes! This is a family event — bring the whole crew.
✅ Do I need to RSVP even if I’m just hanging out? YES. RSVP is mandatory for gate access.
