Free Intro to Improv class every third Saturday of the month from 5:00-6:00pm!If you've ever thought to yourself, "Gee wilikers! Improv comedy looks fun!" then that's your soul talking! Receive a free ticket to an improv show later that same evening!
Join us for this free, drop-in introduction to improv class where we explore how to do improv comedy in a stress-free and welcoming environment. Improv is not about being quick on your feet or witty. Sure, jokes will happen and we'll get goofy, but you'll also learn how to use what's already in you - your life experiences, voice and sense of humor. You just need the "secret" improv tools to harness them and let your creativity fly.
We will:
Meet new people
Play warm-up exercises and games
Do simple scenework and learn how to tell a story
When you leave, we hope you will have had one of the most fun and fulfilling hours you've ever had! What's even cooler is improv puts into practice life-skills, but you probably won't know it because improv is just that fun.
