'FREE' HUD Homeownership Expo: House Party

The U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) along with the City of Tallahassee, Florida A&M University Developmental Research School, Tallahassee Lenders Consortium, and Housing Industry Partners are hosting a FREE Homeownership Expo: 'House Party' on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The location is Florida A&M University Developmental Research School at 400 West Orange Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.

Please Bring your W-2s (2022& 2023), 3 recent Paystubs, and 3 recent Bank Statements to get a possible on the spot Pre-Approval . Housing Counseling Agencies, Banks, Mortgage Lenders, Realtors, and Community Housing Development Organizations will be onsite to help you become a homeowner.

Hispanic Services will be available, and we will have bi-lingual staff availabe to assist.

The Homeownership 'House Party' will emphasize HUD's commitment to helping Floridians achieve their dreams of owning a home by:

1. Highlighting resources available to aspiring homebuyers
2. Busting common myths and assumptions about the homebuying process
3. Sharing real-life success stories
4. Encouraging and Equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to maintain homeownership
5. Assisting with the Application Process

Walk-up Registration will also be available so bring a friend!!! Doors open at 8:30 am
