Household hazardous waste (HHW) is any substance containing ingredients that could negatively affect your safety, health (or that of a pet/animal) or the environment when disposed of incorrectly. You might be surprised at the items that are considered HHW, such as personal care products like shampoo and vitamins/supplements. Our upcoming HHW event is an easy way to dispose of this unwanted waste, but you can recycle year-round at the City’s Timberline Recycling Center (TRC) and Larimer County Landfill.
