The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® (BCAAR) and several local community partners are offering FREE homeownership workshops. Find out how to achieve the dream of homeownership. Learn from a REALTOR® and lender what it takes and how to prepare.Purchasing a home can be one of the most important financial decisions a person can make in their lifetime. Studies have shown that homeownership is key to wealth creation for a family. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer or have been out of the housing market for a while, attend this event to learn about the homebuying experience and what to expect throughout the process.
At the workshop, the following topics will be covered:
- Home buying process start to finish
- Down payment myths (could be as little as 3%)
- Types of loans and more!
