FREE Heritage Open Day - Upton House open

To celebrate Heritage Open Days Upton House will be open to everyone for two days! On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September explore the ground floor of Upton House to discover the families that have called it home and find out more about the staff that lived and worked there through the discoveries of our brilliant Research Volunteers who have been working on our Llewellin Letters Transcribing Project.
You can also pre-book a free, below-stairs guided tour of Upton House’s basement level to find out more about the people that kept the place running or speak to our Research Volunteers who are uncovering more stories with our recent new acquisitions.
The House will be open from 10am to 4pm each day with refreshments available in the Dining Room as well as in the Country Park Tea Rooms.
Step-free access is to the ground floor only; basement tours have no step-free access.
