During this 1-hour pre-recorded workshop, you will learn o blend two varieties of herbal bath soaks that are perfect for nourishing our hearts, minds, and bodies every season of the year.

You will leave the class feeling confident in your herbal bath soak blending abilities, and you will have the knowledge of not only how to blend milk-based, and Epsom salt-based bath soaks but also ideas of how to package and gift the soaks.

DESIGNED WITH THE BEGINNING HERBALIST IN MIND:

Bath soaks are simple and fun to make and an excellent introduction to using plants as part of a DIY beauty routine. With very few steps required to create successful and delightful bath soaks, anyone interested in dipping their toe into herbalism will feel empowered to begin crafting their own products.

NO PRIOR HERBAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED:

The workshop will provide step-by-step instructions on the best materials to use, how to set up your bath soak blending workspace, the best practices for creating herbal bath soaks and milk bath soaks, plus ideas on how to store and gift your creations. All attendees will also receive a comprehensive digital workbook to download that will include the recipes demonstrated in class, a materials list, and bonus gift tags.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Julia Linsteadt (she/her) writes and creates about growing a garden, cooking from the garden, making and learning about herbs, and creating art inspired by the garden and nature. She facilitates workshops and group gatherings both virtually and in person, and she is the creator of the blog www.afarmtokeep.com. She is a long-time small business owner and seasoned arts educator who, through her subscription box company, served thousands of families with unique literature-based art experiences every month from 2017-2022. She is happiest when she teaches and helps others discover their deepest joy. She has always held a deep affinity towards textiles and started quilting in 2020. Her use of textiles in her artwork began in 2018, but her love of fabric started when she was a child at her grandmother's side. She resides in the foothills of Northern California with her family where she homesteads, raises Nigerian Dwarf -goats Peanut Butter and Jelly, and begins every day with a cup of Jasmin green tea.
