This year, Laingholm is lighting up with a fresh kind of celebration and you’re invited! A private hall hirer has generously opened their one-night booking to the community, creating space for a free glow-in-the-dark dance party focused on joy, connection, and light.
🎶 Expect uplifting music, glowing lights, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages
🏍️ Free Harley rides for kids and families: a thrilling bonus thanks to two generous riders (parental permission reqd)
🎁 Games with Spot prizes throughout the evening: come dressed to shine and you might win something fun!
👗 Dress to Shine! Bright colours, glow gear, or fun costumes: superheroes, animals, astronauts, dinosaurs, K-Pop fantasy, or anything joyful and imaginative are all welcome!
🎃 Halloween costumes are welcome (within reason).
This is a family-friendly event, so here’s a simple litmus test to help guide your outfits:
Would this costume…
• Frighten a 4-year-old?
• Mock or offend someone’s culture, religion, body shape, mental health, or sexuality?
• Spark uncomfortable questions about violence, death, or the real-world occult?
If the answer is yes, it might be best saved for another party. Let’s keep things light, playful, and glow-friendly, so everyone feels safe, included, and ready to dance!
