FREE HAF Summer Fun & Food Club - Bubble Wands & Campfire

Heart of BS13 is delivering SEND-friendly Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) provision this summer at the Roundhouse for 8–16 year-olds. Join us for a fun-filled day of creativity, nature and outdoor adventure.
BS13 Summer Fun & Food Club offers a small-group, family-based session for children eligible for benefit-related free school meals (BRFSM), with enhanced support for children with additional needs (no formal diagnosis needed). Please note that parents/carers must remain on site throughout the session.

Activities include:
• Making giant bubble wands using natural materials
• Creating and experimenting with giant bubbles
• Gardening and growing activities
• Campfire cooking and outdoor food preparation
• Outdoor games and nature-based play
• Healthy hot lunch provided
• Fresh frozen meal to take home
• Calm regulation spaces and flexible participation
Cost: FREE and includes lunch plus a frozen meal to take home.
Note: Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear for being outdoors. Childrens clothes may get messy during activities so you may want to bring spare clothes. Outdoor games will run in most weather conditions.
Who this workshop is for: This workshop is funded by Bristol City Council's HAF programme and is open to children aged 8-16 who live in BS13 and the surrounding areas, and are eligible for benefit-related free school meals (BRFSM) during term time.
