Free Gypsy Music Workshop

As part of our Artist in Residency we will be holding free workshops to share the wonderful Roma culture. The first workshop will invite anyone who is interested in Gypsy music. Both musicians and listeners are welcome. You will have the opportunity to learn or simply enjoy music from the various Central-Eastern European Roma traditions. The workshop will be led by two outstanding Roma musicians, Janos Kallai on cimbalom and Janos Lang on violin. Medium to advanced knowledge is recommended on your instrument if you are planning to join the workshop as a player rather than a listener. Tickets are free but limited. Make sure you book yours in time!
