We’re excited to have you join us for the Free Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 101 Seminar!If you’ve been thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), but you don’t want to get injured or embarrassed, this seminar is exactly what you need to attend!
In this special 2-hour free seminar, you will get a brief orientation on the history of BJJ and then you will learn several techniques from Gracie Combatives, the world’s leading BJJ program for beginners.
This event is being offered at Gracie University Headquarters in Torrance, California, as well as several Certified Training Centers around the world.
Although no experience is necessary, the event often reaches capacity so pre-registration is strongly recommended.
This event is the safest and most enjoyable way to be introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, so we really look forward to sharing the mat with you.
What if I have no experience?
Perfect! This seminar is designed for you.
What ages are allowed to attend?
The event is suitable for ages 13 and up. We ask that anyone under 18 years of age be accompanied by an adult.
What if I’m not very physically fit?
No problem. Although fun and informative, this seminar will not be strenuous making it suitable for students all ages and physical abilities.
What should I wear?
Comfortable workout attire is all you need. We recommend a t-shirt that covers your shoulders and pants that cover your knees.
What will I learn?
You will learn several simple, highly effective techniques from the Gracie Combatives program. By the time the seminar is complete, you will understand why the world is falling in love with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and why Gracie Combatives is the chosen path for so many beginners around the world.
