Free Girls Football Training for Year 5-6 Monday Sessions

Spotify and Sheplaysfootball.com aim to empower the next generation of girls who are passionate about football. Together we are creating access and increasing the diversity of grassroots participation by providing a community training programme to encourage girls in Barnet and the surrounding North London areas to come out and play football with other girls their age.

DETAILS OF THE EVENT: -

We are offering FREE after-school football training sessions for any girl aged 6 - 16, with no skill level restrictions. That means new players and experienced players are welcome. The sessions are led by UEFA B or C qualified coaches with several surprise professional footballers and coaches joining in on sessions.

Open sessions run until August 31, 2023 weekdays from 4pm-7pm. 90-minutes sessions are offered by age groups with limited spaces. The sessions are meant to be fun and provide girls with a safe place to learn new skills and meet other girls their age.

AGE GROUPS & TIME SCHEDULE: -

Year 1-2 (ages 6 & 7) – Mondays: 4pm - 5:30pm

Year 3-4 (ages 8 & 9) – Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays: 4pm - 5:30pm

Year 4-5 (ages 9 & 10) Wednesdays: 4pm - 5:30pm

Year 5-6 (ages 10 & 11) - Mondays & Fridays: 5:30 - 7pm

Year 6-7 (ages 11 & 12) – Wednesdays: 5:30pm - 7pm

Year 7-8 (ages 12 & 13) - Mondays & Tuesdays: 5:30pm – 7pm

Year 9-11 (ages 14 -16) – Tuesdays: 5:30pm - 7pm

There is no limit to the amount of training sessions you can attend. In fact, we hope you like it so much that you will become a regular, bring your friends along and perhaps even go on to be invited to join our grassroots girls-only football club, the London City Strikers.
