Consett Canicross are delighted to announce that we’re now offering FREE Canicross Experience Sessions in collaboration with Hamsterley Forest - Forestry England(Please meet in Oak Tree Car Park, 2nd grass car park along the Forest Drive)
Canicrossers of all abilities are welcome - whether you want to enhance your skills or meet up with like minded people from across the community and we will have kit available to borrow on the day to anyone wanting to try the sport for the first time (must be pre booked)
Each session will cover different aspects of Canicross from Command Prompts, Warm Ups/Cool Downs, Safe Practice on the Trails and Dog Welfare with sessions led by a Certified Sporty Paws Canicross Instructor alongside a Qualified Canicross Run Leader.
Sessions will be on the last Saturday of the month and consist of a run (during the Canicross season) or Hike (weather dependent, out of season) with the distance posted on each event page!
