Starting out with discovering your family tree? This beginner’s genealogy class will guide you through free research resources such as FamilySearch and Heritage Quest plus the library edition of Ancestry.com available at the Tom Green County Library. Other topics include how to fill out a family chart, where to find free newspaper resources, and where to go for help sessions.
Bring note taking material and information what you already know about parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.
Computer skills are required to be successful in learning genealogy internet resources.
