Free French Cinéclub - Max and the Junkmen

Max a wealthy and frustrated Paris detective is determined to regain his reputation by catching a gang of robbers. To do so he manipulates a group of petty thieves led by an old acquaintance into robbing a bank. With intel from a reluctant captain Max spends time with Lilly the girlfriend of the gang's leader posing as a wealthy banker. He subtly suggests a lucrative payroll through his bank luring the gang into the heist. The police are set to catch them but with Max's calculated plan who's really being trapped?
