Free Fix-It Clinic

The Gainesville Hackerspace is organizing a FreeFixit Clinic on The second Saturday of the Month from 11 am to 2 pm at the Gainesville Hackerspace 6th Street Location (4101 NW 6th Street, Gainesville, FL 32609). During Fixit Clinics, community members bring broken items to be repaired. Our members with repair skills will attempt to fix these items. The Gainesville Hackesrpace is a place where makers get access to tools, training and community. Do It Yourself is an essential part of our philosophy, and we believe repairing things is better than throwing them out.

This is a free event, but we suggest a donation of between $5 and $20 for those able. 

We have volunteers lined up to fix lamps, other corded items, small appliances, vacuums, sewing machines, knife sharpening and more.
