Ring in the holiday spirit with crafts and gifts galore at the Whatcom Museum! Still looking for the perfect present or want to give someone a one-of-a-kind treasure? Local artists will host workshops throughout the day where you can make, take, and give special goodies to friends and family. Felt a pocket pal, design a mosaic ornament, learn the centuries old paper cutting technique of scherenschnitte, and more! In the evening, we’ll reprise our knit night with tunes supplied by jazz quarter Monk Slippers from 6 – 8 pm. Bring a project to work on and craft community during this all-ages celebration.
Sweet Art Tour of Verdant for ages 1 – 5

Walk through the Verdant gallery for a short and sweet introduction to the French masters.
Baby & Toddler Music Classes with Little Sapling Music

A fun and engaging music class for littles ages 1 – 5 with an accompanying caregiver.
Yarn Wrapped Wreaths and Lights

Immerse yourself in the centuries-old tradition of making hand-cut paper snowflakes.
Bellingham Symphony Orchestra Meet a Musician
The Lightcatcher Family Interactive Gallery | 4 pm
Meet musician Gena Mikkelsen and learn about the flute and piccolo in the fun, kid-friendly performance.
Holiday Cards with Nicki Lang
The Lightcatcher Studio | 5:30 – 7:30 pm
Print handmade holiday cards using block prints and stamps.
Knit Night with Monk Slippers Jazz Quartet
