This free* workshop is your chance to reflect on a personally meaningful linear route that you've walked, and to create a simple booklet to remember it by.Join us in this special workshop brought to you by Cymdeithas Eryri Snowdonia Society for a day to remember - literally. We'll start by collecting our thoughts and recollections in the form of words and visual notes. We'll then discuss what the lines on a map and routes across a landscape mean to us on a deeper level, and how they enhance our lives. We’ll also take a short walk** along the river and forest near the venue.
To complete the day, you’ll have the chance to make a small, simple booklet as a memento of your remembered route. And please don't worry - you don't need any prior artistic experience to participate! We'll provide all the materials, easy-to-follow instructions and hands-on help.
*There's a £10 refundable deposit to book your place.
**If you’re not able to walk appreciable distances, you can choose to stay in or near the venue.
