Register here: https://bit.ly/https://bit.ly/CCJuneFPPCCommunity Conversations are a series of discussions for anyone and everyone in our New Berlin area community, sharing and supporting one another during challenges throughout life.
Join us Saturday, June 6 from 11 am to 1 pm for lunch and a Community Conversation on how to make the end-of-life period beautiful and sacred.
The gift of being alive, of appreciating ourselves, each other and the world we live in, is often overlooked in our busyness of life. Reflecting on the fragility of our days awakens us to the truth how fragile life is. Our time together is an invitation for anyone seeking a more intentional approach to living, while offering you profound insights on death and dying. Perhaps there are truly healing potentials that lie in reverence, gratitude and appreciation for life in the face of contemplating our death.
Please join Kathy as she opens the door to exploring the Sacredness of Life and Death. Class will explore the following:
• What is currently happening in our society today regarding Aging, Elder care crisis and End-of-Life Care? What is an EOL Care Doula?
• Practical Heart-Centered Wisdom – explore how to make end-of-life beautiful and sacred.
• Enrich Your Life by Contemplating your End of Life - Live and Embrace What Really Matters.
Kathy has been in the field of Holistic and Integrative Health since 1991 as a practitioner, teacher and mentor. She is the creative force behind 4Rivers Center for Well Being along with Sacred River both located in Oconomowoc. Kathy currently is an End of Life community educator & practitioner. She serves those who wish to age gracefully and live with deep meaning. She is an End of Life Touch Therapist, Hakomi Body-centered Practitioner, Body-centered Grief Companion, Certified End of Life Care Doula, Retreat Leader and Author.
Kathy is passionate about the sacredness of our life and our death, and feels honored to walk with you on your unique and individual life journey. Participants can expect to come away with a rich and meaningful way of looking at one’s life and the power of contemplating our end of life.
