About this Event
Join us on March 18th 4-5pm in Meeting Room 2 on the second floor of the Silver Spring library to celebrate Ethiopian heritage!
The event will include book readings, coloring, music and more. We are also proud to offer the first 37 families who attend a FREE copy of the following Ethiopian Children’s book titles: ‘The Magical Gabi’ by Yegna Story; ‘Abebe Bikila: the Barefoot Runner’ by Alem Aweke Embiale; ‘Thirteen Months of Sunshine’ by Worku L. Mulat (from the Ready Set Go book series); ‘Ethiopian New Year Coloring Book: Melkam Addis Amet’ by Abeba Editions and ‘Menelik and Taytu’ by Mahlet Zeru.
As there is a capacity limit for the room, please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make the event so we can give the space to a family on the waiting list.
Looking forward to seeing as many Ethiopian families as possible there!
