Free Estate Planning Seminar at Jerusalem Café

Heircraft Planning is hosting a free evening seminar on how estate planning actually works in Alabama. The event takes place Tuesday, September 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Jerusalem Café in Mobile. Dinner is provided.

Topics covered include what happens in Alabama if you die without a will, who has the legal authority to make decisions for you if you become incapacitated, the difference between a will and a trust and when each one makes sense, how probate works in Alabama and how to avoid unnecessary court involvement, why beneficiary designations can override the rest of your plan, and what most families get wrong.
