FREE* Emergency Preparedness Training--Weeknights Module

Campbell CERT is offering a 25 ½-hour hybrid on-line and in-person training academy to help you prepare. You need no prior medical or emergency training—we will train you in everything you need to know.

The class is comprised of:

• 9 Self-Paced classes that take 14.5 hours. These classes are provided through CalOES. You will sign-up through the CalOES training portal and take these classes as they fit into your schedule.
• 4 Instructor-Led online classes that take 4.5 hours. The Instructor-Led online classes are woven into the Self-Paced classes as an aid to assuring your understanding of the materials. In the Instructor-Led online classes you will have an opportunity to ask questions related to the prior week’s Self-Paced training.
• 6-hour outdoor hands-on Skills session and graduation, held at the Campbell Community Center. All participants and instructors are required to wear face masks.

1) Take 9 CalOES Self-Paced training modules.

2) Take and pass the open-book exam at the end of the Self-Paced training.

3) Attend the 4 On-Line Instructor-Led modules.

4) Attend the 6-hour in-person Skills Day.

Instructor-Led online classes meet:

• Thursday, September 16—7:00pm to 8:15pm
• Wednesday, September 29—7:00pm to 8:15pm
• Thursday, October 7—7:00pm to 8:15pm
• Wednesday, October 13—7:00pm to 8:15pm

Skills Day, in-person, hands-on:

• Saturday, October 23—8:00am to 2:00pm

You are required to attend all classes to graduate.

• Your neighborhood CERT team
