Dispose of your bulky household waste and shred your confidential documents at no cost!Caltrans staff will be at Estancia High School to shred up to four boxes of your documents securely, as well as collect household items that are too bulky for residential garbage bins, such as mattresses, furniture, toys and e-waste.
This event is free of cost for all OC residents and no appointment is necessary. It is first-come, first-serve and we will accept items until 11 a.m. or until we reach full capacity (whichever is first).
We encourage attendees to arrive early.
The following items will NOT be accepted at this event:
• Hazardous materials (batteries, paints, oils, chemicals, pesticides, fluorescent lights)
• Concrete, dirt, rocks, brick, asphalt, or sand
• Treated wood
• Tires
The following items must be removed from document boxes prior to shred:
• Batteries
• Hanging file folders
• Accordion folders
• CDs
• X-rays
• 3-ring binders
• Cardboard
