This uplifting activation promotes rhythm, coordination, focus, and teamwork, while strengthening whānau connection and confidence.
We’ll gather at the location for a warm welcome and brief introduction before diving into the fundamentals of each activity. Participants will learn basic drumming patterns, simple dragon dance movements, and Tai Chi fan techniques — all designed to be inclusive, accessible, and fun for all ages and abilities.
Led in a safe and supportive environment, Dragon Beats encourages experiential learning and fosters a deeper appreciation and understanding of Chinese culture.
