The Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH) is bringing fossils and dino exhibits to the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology, 2455 Old Penitentiary Rd, on Friday, June 26, noon - 4 pm.
Bring your family to the Idaho Museum of Mining & Geology (IMMG) and explore Idaho’s ancient past right in your own community. Pre-registration for 1-hour time periods is encouraged to regulate foot traffic. Pick your preferred time. Noon, 1, 2, or 3 pm. Housed in a specially outfitted van to portray a traveling extension of the IMNH in Pocatello, the Mobile Museum includes a walk-through exhibit that makes science come to life. Visitors will get the opportunity to see original and exact replicas of Idaho natural history objects straight from their collections. Included are a full Idaho dinosaur skeleton, nests, skulls and interactive displays with hands-on activities with mobile educator Pam Pascali.
Don’t miss learning all about Idaho’s fossils and what roamed the earth millions of years ago!
The event has an ASL Interpreter.
