Free Digital Skills Class: Protect Your Phone: Security & Privacy

This class will teach participants basic mobile phone security and privacy practices (for both Android and iPhone) to help them protect personal information and teach them about details to keep a lookout for to avoid fraud. 

Learning Objectives: 

To familiarize with basic security and privacy practices on their mobile phones focusing on both Iphone and Android settings. 

Participants will learn the difference between security and privacy. 

• Security - using passwords and updating the phone’s system. 
• Privacy - the right to share data, photos, and location with others. 

To teach participants to recognize common scams and protect their devices with passwords and proper apps permission
