Free Digital Skills Class:Intro to Parts of a Computer| South Dallas

This class explores factors contributing to and resolving the digital divide. It teaches about electronic devices, their components, internet, browsers, and web pages. The goal is to empower participants with digital skills to navigate daily life challenges.

Learning Objectives: 

1. Participants will learn the importance of digital inclusion to close the digital divide that exists between them and others. 
2. Identify computer keys (on the keyboard), learn that they are electronic devices that process and share information. 
3. Explore and practice the “hardware vs. software” component of a computer by physically identifying each qualifying part such as monitor, CPU, keyboard, and mouse.
