EVENT: This weekend, SUNDAY 24th May
from midday FREE demo day.
I will be at the studio demonstrating the messy, but fun, art of slipcasting.
Specifically I will be pouring terracotta for bisque firing. Terracotta is a red porous clay most often used for garden decor as it is quite hardy at lower temperatures
I shall be opening moulds, showing trimming and etching techniques and letting you handle pieces already fired.
You will also get to see the range of bisqueware I produce for the 'paint your own' and 'guided lesson' events plus what's in the shop - no obligation to buy....
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty in case of spillages.
Children over 10 years only.
No more than 2 children per adult.
