FREE CreativeMornings Boulder/DEVOTION to Speaking the Unspeakable
About this Event
CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast lecture series that brings creative communities together around the world. Boulder is one of more than 260 CreativeMornings chapters globally, each gathering around a shared monthly theme.
What does it take to come home from war? For over 14 years, Warrior StoryField has brought veterans, civilians, and first responders together through art, storytelling, and shared experiences to explore that question.
Founded by Boulder metal artist Robert Bellows, what began as a collaborative art experiment in his backyard has evolved into a powerful community where creative expression helps people share difficult experiences, build understanding, and find common ground.
Today, co-founder and retired Air Force officer Brad Gallup is helping expand the vision by transforming a 38-acre Boulder County ranch into a permanent home for connection, healing, and creative exploration. At its core, Warrior StoryField is not just about making art. It is about creating brave spaces where people can listen deeply, tell their stories, and bridge divides.
As part of this month’s theme, DEVOTION, documentarian Kathleen Temme joins Bellows and Gallup to share the story of this remarkable initiative and the passion, purpose, and perseverance that continue to sustain it.
