2025Conference Title: Trusting God in Life’s Challenges
Dates: March 21-23 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Friday Schedule: 6:30-9:30 pm
Session 1: Trusting God in the Everyday – Developing a Practical Theology of Trust
A foundational talk on what it means to trust God, how trust is cultivated through trials, and how our view of God shapes our ability to rest in Him during difficulties.
Session 2: Self-Counsel – Speaking Truth to Yourself in Difficult Times
How to bring biblical truth to bear on your thoughts, rather than being led by unbiblical thinking patterns, and how to cultivate a habit of soul care through God’s Word.
Saturday Schedule: 9 am-5 pm (lunch break 12-1:30 pm on your own)
Session 3: Navigating Conflict with a Gospel Mindset
How to trust God in relational challenges, applying biblical principles for addressing conflict, pursuing peace, and guarding against bitterness.
Session 4: Trusting God with Broken Relationships
How to walk in trust when relationships are strained or fractured, applying biblical principles for forgiveness, reconciliation, and wise relational stewardship.
Session 5: Parenting with Wisdom – Teaching Children to Trust God Through Right Decision-Making
Rather than making choices for our children, we must train them to make biblically sound decisions by leading them to God’s Word, modeling trust in the Lord, and releasing them to follow Him.
Session 6: Fear, Anxiety, and Worry – Learning to Rest in God’s Sovereignty
A biblical approach to trusting God in uncertainty, combating anxiety with faith, and replacing fear-driven responses with Christ-centered thinking.
Sunday Schedule: 9-10 am, 6:30-8:30 pm
Session 7: Suffering Well – Trusting God When Life Hurts
Based on Rick’s book Suffering Well, this session would explore a biblical perspective on suffering, how to respond with trust rather than despair, and how suffering deepens our dependence on God.
Session 8: Finishing Well – A Lifetime of Trusting God
Encouraging believers to endure faithfully, learning how to trust God despite hardships, and cultivating long-term trust that sustains us to the end.
