Add Todd Chuba, one of Phoenix’s favorite drummers, known for his ability to capture multiple genres to perfection. Jeff Naylor, on upright and electric bass and backup vocals, bringing his expressive showmanship and hard playing that will capture any audience.
Since 2006, the Sugar Thieves have been captivating audiences worldwide with their unique blend of high-energy and soulful live performances. Whether performing in intimate dive bars or on grand festival stages, this band's distinct sound never fails to move the crowd.
Based in Phoenix, the Sugar Thieves have traveled extensively over the last eight years, performing in the US, Mexico, and Europe. Along the way, they've shared the stage with legendary artists such as Taj Mahal, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, The Flaming Lips, The Blues Brothers, Lucinda Williams, and Robert Cray.
Their discography includes five albums of original and reimagined music, reflecting their extensive experience and musical talent.
