It is with honor that we perform as an orchestra throughout the world representing the strength which music brings to all generations of time as we sit side by side performing great music and blending the generations of time, ethnicity, history and country while honoring and keeping our heritage and connections alive through music.

In addition, there will be a few members of a Blue Grass group, Run Boy Run.

All players will be either very strong or semiprofessional players.

The choir takes special pleasure in exploring the music of living composers and has given numerous Irish and world premieres.

Bernie received her training in choral conducting from Ildikó Herboly Kocsár and Peter Erdei during two years of study in Hungary. She subsequently continued her studies with Gerhard Markson and earned a Masters in Conducting from NUI Maynooth.

Bernie has extensive experience directing a wide range of choirs. She was for ten years the Choral Director at the DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama, during which time she led the DIT Chamber Choir to numerous first prizes at the Cork International Choral Festival and at Dublin Feis Ceoil.

Seán Doherty's choral works and commissions have received many international performances and have garnered numerous awards: he has won the Feis Ceoil choral composition award, the Choir and Organ Magazine composition competition, the St Giles’s Cathedral Edinburgh anthem composition competition, the Fragments Choral Composition Award (in association with Historic Scotland), and prizes for best contemporary work at international choral festivals Florilège Vocal de Tours, France, and Béla Bartok Competition, Hungary. His choral works have been performed by choirs including the choir of Merton College, Oxford, Kamikuoro Kampin Laulu, Finland, the National Youth Choir of Scotland, Chicago a cappella, Grant Park Chorus, Chicago, Laetare Vocal Ensemble, the Mornington Singers, and New Dublin Voices.
