Free Community Yoga at Prospect Park Mondays - Be Well with Mel

Come out to the park. Move your body. Feel better.
Every Monday at 5:30pm and every Wednesday at 4-5pm, June through August, MelsCamp brings free community yoga to Prospect Park in Buffalo. Meet at the center of the southwest side of Niagara St.
No registration, no experience required, no fee. Bring a mat if you have one. Bring a towel, a blanket, a friend. Just come.
The practice draws from qigong, yoga and breathwork. Movements stretch, bend and release tension, build stamina and cultivate energy in the body. You will connect with your senses, tune into your breath and move in ways that feel good. Just a group of people in a park doing something good for themselves together.
These classes are led by Melissa Campbell, who has been practicing and teaching qigong, yoga and wellness in Buffalo for over 20 years. Her work is rooted in the Universal Healing Tao system and shaped by her years at Spiritwind in Allentown, where it all began. Her approach is grounded, practical and genuinely fun. New to movement or practiced for years, there is a place for you here.

If the park sparks something and you want to go deeper, MelsCamp holds weekly studio classes at Green Pastures Still Waters Wellness Center at 1479 Hertel Ave in Buffalo all year long. Tuesdays at noon is Functional Energetics. Thursdays at 4:30pm and 6:30pm are Awakening the Inner Smile and Tao Flow Yoga. Studio passes are $15 per class or $75 for 10 classes.
