Celebrate the reopening of the Akron Art Museum with a full day of art, music, family activities, gallery experiences, food and drinks, and community celebration. Explore the restored 1899 building, discover our newest exhibitions, and help us kick off an exciting new chapter for the Museum.

Afternoon Fun from 12 -4 PM

• Food Trucks: Swenson's Food Truck & Bereka Coffee Truck (11:30am-1:30pm)
• Pop-up Installation from Jimmy Kuehnle
• University of Akron Step Team performance (12:30pm)
• Poster Printing with Wave Space Studio
• Curator Tours at 1, 2:30, 4

Evening Happenings from 5 - 9 PM

• The Sonder Bombs perform at 6:30 & 7:30
