Free Community Naloxone Training Session

Schenectady County Public Health Services is hosting a free in-person training session to empower community members with the knowledge and skills to address opioid overdose effectively. Attendees will learn to recognize the signs of overdose, understand preventative measures, and receive training on the administration of naloxone, equipping them with life-saving techniques and access to essential resources for responding to opioid-related emergencies.
Participants will receive a free naloxone kit and fentanyl/xylazine test strips upon completion of the training.
